Alonso may or may not be associated with this sauce. (Most certainly not, but it is called Nando’s) these turned out very delicious and the heat builds exponentially with this sauce.

Did a little research....sounds like the air fryer does a lot more circulating of the air, and the heating element is on top. Also, it uses a basket so more heated air hits the food.  (no bottom element for drippings from the food to burn/smoke) 

I’ll have to check to see if my convection toaster oven still runs the fan in Broil mode.

I wonder if using a speed holey basket like used on a grill would work and put it near the convection fan of an oven?

good to hear I hate chicken wings as most are pretty soggy especially the frozen sacks you cook in the oven.
